About This Site
TX License Data publishes statistics about Texas real estate licensing, computed daily from the State of Texas's own open data. It is an independent project: not affiliated with TREC, any state agency, any school or any brokerage.
What we do
TREC publishes its licensing records as open data, but not the numbers people ask about: how long licensing takes, whether the queue is moving, which schools' students pass, who sponsors new agents. We compute those, publish the method, and publish the data behind them. Several of TREC's files are overwritten with no archive; we archive them daily, which is why some of our series exist nowhere else.
How we make money, and how we keep it out of the numbers
This site earns affiliate commission from two course providers, AceableAgent (including its PrepAgent exam-prep product) and Colibri Real Estate. Every affiliate link is marked as one where it appears. Neither provider sees, reviews or pays for any statistic here. The pass-rate table includes every provider TREC reports, is sorted by a neutral column, and uses TREC's numbers — including where they show a partner below a competitor.
We have no commercial relationship with any brokerage. The sponsorship tables are TREC's records, counted; nobody pays to appear in them or to be left out.
Corrections
Where this site and TREC disagree, TREC is right. If you find an error — a fee, a rule, a number that does not reconcile — email press@txlicensedata.online and we will fix it and say so on the page. Press enquiries go to the same address. Nothing here is legal advice.
